FILIPINO-CHINESE FIRE AND RESCUE VOLUNTEERS CONDUCT RELIEF OPERATIONS IN PATEROS

Last Sunday October 11, 2009, the Philippine Fire and Rescue Volunteers On-line Community Inc., Philippine Institute of Quezon City (PIQC), Philippine Institute of Quezon City Alumni Association (PIQCAA) and Philippine Chi Liam Tong Foundation, Inc., in cooperation with the Pateros Filipino-Chinese Volunteer Fire and Rescue Brigade, Inc., organized a relief operation at Barangay Sta. Ana, Pateros, Metro Manila.

The relief effort was held at the Office of Senior Citizens Affairs, Ragas Street. Over 400 affected families by typhoon Ondoy were given bags full of assorted food items, water containers, clothing and mineral water.

This is project is a continuing answer by the Pateros Filipino-Chinese Volunteer Fire and Rescue Brigade, Inc. to the call of Mayor Joey Medina to alleviate the suffering and augment the needs of the people of Pateros who were affected by the flood.
